Changes - the constant thing in life

This past month has been filled with changes, realignment and adaptation - a crystallizing of certain plans, truths and dreams.

People come into your life and people go. Sometimes, it happens that they are just not on the same path as you are. Many have left and so have they left me wondering; what have I still left? Knowing that this is a road not taken leaves, a vague understanding and assurance that everything will be alright. Yet, there is always a God who overwrites our plans.

Unknowingly, I have changed. I would love to state all the good changes in my life. But the fact is that as we change, there is always the good and the bad about it. Considering this, what perfection is there to find apart from God? If you were to view everything from God's eyes, Everything is Good. Apart from God, can you find perfection at all?

With changes comes realignment. It's all up to us to adapt or refuse these changes. When we choose to adapt and realign our lives according to the way God wants it to be, there is unity, love and submission to the Spirit. But when we disagree, it will take us through the tougher journey before we submit to God's will. Thus, time and energy is wasted in refusing God; whereas we could have been obedient to God and could have conquered more. When we choose to change, there is a progress going on.

This is also a season of Passover. Passing through the desert into the promise land; passing from the old into the new; allowing the flesh to passover and allowing the Spirit to rule; passing dreams and desires over to God whilst seeing it bloom and crystallize as time goes by... As this season passes over, I want to remain in anticipation for Resurrection and Life! For all that I need is found in Him.

Much as life changes, people change, seasons come and go - Jesus Christ don't change mate!
